Indonesia, straddling the equator and surrounded by warm tropical seas, enjoys relatively high and stable water temperatures year-round. The sea surface temperatures typically range between 26°C to 30°C (79°F to 86°F), depending on the season and location.
In the warmest months, usually between March and November, the waters can reach the higher end of this range, especially in areas closer to the equator. During the monsoon season, from December to February, temperatures might slightly dip but remain warm, often around 27°C to 29°C (81°F to 84°F).
The warm waters contribute to Indonesia's vibrant marine life and are ideal for activities like snorkeling and diving. Coastal regions and shallow seas, like those around Bali and the Gili Islands, often have the warmest waters, while deeper areas or regions influenced by cooler currents, such as the Banda Sea, South of Flores, South of Komodo and Lombok Strait may experience slightly lower temperatures 20°C to 25° C ( 68°F to 77°F ).
Overall, Indonesia's waters offer a consistently warm and inviting environment, perfect for year-round aquatic adventures.
Usually a 3 or 5 mm. wetsuit is enough. We recommend the use of the hood to minimise ear problems, due to the high organic matter content of the water.

In addition to the presence of fire detectors and fire extinguishers in all areas of the boat, there are also fire balls (automatic fire extinguishers) distributed throughout the cabins.
We have also finished installing a modern automatic fire extinguishing system in the engine room (StatX 200), together with fire dampers that prevent fresh air from entering the engine room in case of fire.
The Stat-X 200 is an advanced automatic fire suppression system, essential for safeguarding critical areas like engine rooms. This system plays a crucial role in protecting both personnel and equipment by swiftly detecting and extinguishing fires before they can escalate.
Engine rooms, filled with flammable materials, high temperatures, and complex machinery, are particularly vulnerable to fire hazards. The Stat-X 200 system is designed to respond instantly to the presence of fire, releasing a specialized aerosol that rapidly suppresses flames and prevents re-ignition.
The importance of the Stat-X 200 system lies in its ability to minimize damage, reduce downtime, and, most importantly, protect lives. By providing a reliable and effective means of fire control, it ensures that the engine room remains a safe and operational environment, contributing to the overall safety and efficiency of the vessel or facility it protects.
