MV Samambaia offers 2 strictly double, 2 double convertible twin, 2 twin cabins below deck and 1 master cabin on deck that can accommodate up to 14 guests. Attention to detail in the crafting process is reflected throughout all the cabins equipped with individual air conditioning. All bathrooms offer a rain shower head paired with a hand shower, western standard non-marine toilet with integrated bidet and a washbasin carved out of fossil wood. Our on board watermakers ensure an ample supply of freshwater. The master cabin, located on the afterdeck, offers with its large windows a breath taking 180° view. A special coating on the glass ensures privacy.

Aboard the traditional wooden boat Samambaia, the crew prepared for another day of diving in Indonesia’s stunning archipelago. Captain Rahman, a experienced sailor with lot of experience navigating these waters, skillfully guided the vessel through the turquoise waves. His deep knowledge of local currents and marine life ensured the safety and enjoyment of every dive. The Cruise Director Daniel is an enthusiastic dive instructor, radiated energy as he briefed the guests on safety protocols and what to expect during their dives.The infectious passion for the ocean inspired many to explore deeper. He know the best spot and is eager to share the wonders of underwater life with you. He is supported by four dive masters, that are responsible for help you, for your safety and will accompanying during your dive.
The crew also included Sikin, the ship’s chef engineer, who was responsible for maintaining the boat’s engines and diving gear. His meticulous attention to detail ensured that everything was in perfect working order, allowing the guests to focus solely on the beauty of the underwater world. And then there was Cecep, the cook, who whipped up delicious meals infused with local flavors, making every mealtime a culinary journey.
As they sailed from one stunning dive site to another, the crew shared stories of the archipelago’s rich culture and biodiversity, pointing out remote islands and hidden coves along the way.
